Chickens On The Runway

As these ladies remind us,
it's not what you wear,
but how you wear it.

Fine Feathered Film Stars Of Old Whoo-Whoolywood

Sorry about that tagline, I'm apparently possessed by the head writer of the '60's Batman t.v. series today (as was the uncredited photoshopper).

The actresses are Louise Brooks, Jean Harlow & Clara Bow.

Paper, Scissors, Stoned

I went through a fun, albeit short-lived, papercraft spell a few months ago.
My favorite designs (and the simplest to assemble) were by Brian Gubicza.

The Splintered Priestess

Another gift from my friend Daniel Kay Wilbur, proprietor of Wilbur Vintage (Philly's finest vintage/designer clothing & jewelry shop); I popped in to visit one afternoon and saw this 2' high carved priestess in a batch of stuff he'd purchased that day.
It was love at first site, and she now stands guard next to my bed while I sleep at night.

Sheikha Chic

I just ran across a photo of this woman yesterday, and am now utterly obsessed: Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Quatar, the second of the Emir's three wives, and the most politically active.

I can't get enough of her style, grace and composure, and am, of course, weak for turbans!

Celebrity Jerky

Even wonder how cavemen blogged before the internet?

Let's set the Way Back Machine to 15+ years ago...
